With Karen Ceccon, Director and Principal Counsellor at Ararat Wellness 

Karen Ceccon is a specialist in Neurodivergence with many other interests. 

Karen owns a NDIS wellness services, Ararat Wellness whose key focus is to support people who have barriers in their lives that can prevent them from living their lives to the fullest potential.

Karen was diagnosed later in her adult life with ADHD and Autism, and I was diagnosed with ADHD a few years ago too.

This conversation opens with exploring some of the professional elements of working within the NDIS, and then transitions to a more personal discussion as we discuss our experiences and understandings of the identity of ADHD.

This conversation touches on the importance of appropriate support and strategies for neurodivergent individuals.

The conversation also delves into personal experiences and reflections on the language and stigmas surrounding disability.
