Different types of Romiromi releases

Types of releases

A client asked a really beautiful question about if and how there are different types of releases in Romiromi recently and I found myself articulating this for the first time.

I thought it was such a beautiful question that I wanted to share it with you all.

There are probably sooooo many different types of releases, yet I’ve broken those I know into three different types.

Firstly, our body system is only one layer of our energetic field and she knows how to balance you.

However, in everyday life our experiences, our history, fields, doubts, and influences can sometimes take us away from this subtle inner knowledge.

The beauty about sharing space with another energy field, a healer or practitioner or healer is that your field begins to attune with the energy they carry. What a beautiful gift when a sacred shift is in alignment to take place.

Now, I 1000% view all releases as powerful and I see that each of these are usually present in each session.

In all capacities, the healer is not working “on you” – we are co-creation, so know that your voice is so required.
Your sound is allowed and if your body wants to move, it probably knows that will support your release & shifts.

1. Divine appointment, sacred life shifting trauma releases.

All Romiromi sessions are divine, yet in these deep sessions, often our body is screaming for physical release.

When this energy comes forth in a session there can be many releases, one after another. I used to always describe this as akin to information around the body keeps the score where our trauma is released and this is a denser experience. Yet as “painful” as things feel – it’s not painful.

However, now I do not see this energy as trauma…. sometimes it is, sometimes it’s re-balancing things from the past that need to change for your new embodiment walk to begin….

In these sessions, if they emerge naturally our screams are so primal and so needed, and our wailing is not only your wailing, but the wailing of your Tīpuna, of the universe and of everything that is shifting out of the field.

When I began practicing Romiromi I often mainly encountered the deep primal release sessions as a practitioner. I thought this was the essence of Romromi and I didn’t appreciate the equal power of the gentle releases outlined below, now I lean towards the later too with a complete willingness to step into the deeper release when it is the right destined time.

In your body, these can feel like pain – yet it’s super weird – even a light touch from a practitioner will feel agonising (that’s one of the way we know there’s more than meets the eye).

Once released, a wave of energy will flow through the body as the body replenishes. When we are not used to this vibration, it may feel overwhelming, yet over time you learn to allow it and embrace it.

These are deep vibrational shifts that can take time in our every day life to integrate… I’m talking days, weeks, years…. Yet the changes can also be significant.
An unexpected change in career, stopping vices – releasing trauma you’ve felt your whole life and so many more things.

I always like to tell clients to trust that emotions that arise after these types of sessions are only coming up to say goodbye as they leave.

Afterwards, take time to nourish yourself, explore the newness of your body & wairua

2. Gentle vibrational releases, a re-writing of patterns and things you are calling in.

Gentler releases still hold the same power….

Outwardly these can look soft, as though nothing is happening, yet one’s internal world that dreamscape & shifts are profound.

In these releases, the experience through the body is not so densely physical, there is an acceptance and acknowledgment that it is time to release.

In some way, the body, armour of the body, protectors and shields relax and a light energy enters the body field.

Even if the body is releasing and outwardly it can look like pain, energies shift automatically, you feel them move and change as they respond to the energy the body is willing and ready to accept.

It’s as if connection with the haemata ~ vital point reminds that part of the body / energy that it’s been dormant and it gentle re-awakens and moves on. The feeling in the body is as though the body holds more breath.

3. Energetic replenishment & rejuvenation

A newness of life emerges

This is similar to the feeling of gentle releases, yet a newness, an answering of your prayers and your ancient ancestors prayers.
You feel new energy and it is as though an ancient remembering is taking place.

In the gentle releases and energetic replenishment I often feel as if there is little that I need to do as a bodywork except respond, keep the doorway open and then step back.

In all types of eleases, our tears may emerge, emotions and deep feelings may come forth. Memories of those past, past experiences (in this and other life times). Whether you know these are true, or you hold them as the vision for that moment that they are, they are so sacred.

As always, these thoughts are observations only & your experience is always your highest guide to what is happening in your energy & field

Continue caring for you and each other.
If you need care, to take the soft or slow path, it may be for you as we integrate this knowledge & possibility into .
