This episode has a trigger warning as we are talking about Simonne’s memoir that deals with domestic violence, sexual abuse and the journey of healing from trauma.

Simonne covers many bases in this conversation from her journey with writing, the intense emotions and journey of having one’s story out there. Soul retrieval, shamanic work an do much more.

This Kōrero MiriMiri: Healing talk for me is so nourishing as I met Simonne when I was on my own healing journey from my own rape experiences. I haven’t spoken about these publicly in a long time and in the present day I rarely speak much about my journey, yet this episode was a tender one for more because of the connection I had with Simonne during the time/s I was finding my voice.

I hope you all hold with care for Simonne in the deeply courageous story she holds, walks and shares with us for our upliftment and healing.
