Māori healing and tears.

Our tears, emotions and deep feelings are so sacred, our screams are so primal and so needed, our voice is so required.

Recently someone told me that I should share that it is common for tears to come during a Romiromi or Mirimiri session, and this is true. Yet, I have often leant away from sharing this as each and every person releases in a different way, on a different day and in different moments.

So yes, many people will cry or scream during a Māori healing session, others shake as they feel energy moving through them. Others are in a world between this and another.

Yet you’re not wrong, and it’s not wrong if you don’t cry.

Any one person may have a different way of shifting and moving energy. Having said that, if you feel like crying in a session, please cry, please weep, please let those tears stored in your essence, your pores and your being release and transfer into a new existence.

Please allow any emotional blocks to transfer into wisdom and please allow your body to process and heal itself in a way that only it knows.

Sending love out into the ether always,
Whakamanatia ~ in our sovereign uprising,
Gabrielle Rangihoea ♡
